AMA Pro Road Racing Announces Ticket Sales for Remaining 2012 Events








AMA Pro Road Racing Tickets for Remaining Rounds of 2012 Schedule on Sale Now

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 20, 2012) The SuperBike racing scene will be heating up across the country as summer fades into fall, with five rounds of AMA Pro Road Racing competition scheduled from July through October. Tickets for all five events are on sale now, and based on the intense action seen so far in 2012, those in attendance are guaranteed to catch motorcycle road racing at its finest.

Four of the rounds will feature all four classes of AMA Pro Road Racing: AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike and AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series. The fifth event is a one-off doubleheader at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the big-bore Harley-Davidson XR1200s of the Vance & Hines XR1200 Series.

Next weekend, July 27 - 29, 2012, thrilling sprint races for National Guard SuperBike, GoPro Daytona SportBike and Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport will once again be featured alongside MotoGP as part of the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The Vance & Hines XR1200 Series returns to the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway next month, August 17 - 19, 2012, for the second consecutive year to compete alongside the full complement of MotoGP classes in the Red Bull Indianapolis GP. Last year's doubleheader featured intense battles by some of AMA Pro's best, and the drama will be intensified this year as the event marks the start the XR Showdown, a $60,000 year-end prize fund.

New Jersey Motorsports Park has impressed fans and competitors alike since debuting on the AMA Pro Road Racing schedule on Labor Day weekend in 2009, and the 2.25-mile track in Millville, N.J., will see the return of the series one week later in 2012, September 7 - 9, 2012.

The final two rounds of the AMA Pro Road Racing season are Big Kahuna-themed events put on in conjunction with M1 PowerSports, a well-known and highly-respected motorsports event promotion company with over 15 years of experience in the industry. M1 PowerSports events have long been known for delivering exceptional entertainment value alongside world-class racing by America's finest motorcycle road racing talent, and fans received that same experience when M1 returned to full-time promotion with the April event at Road Atlanta, the first of three Triumph Big Kahuna Triple Crown events on the 2012 calendar.

The inaugural Triumph Big Kahuna Miami presented by Dunlop Tire and LeoVince is scheduled for the weekend of September 21 - 23, 2012 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, which is located south of Miami in Homestead, Fla. As fall weather begins to draw in across the country, fans will find the Miami area a tropical oasis while being treated to an entertainment spectacle from M1 PowerSports.

Two weeks later, the AMA Pro Road Racing season will come to a close at America's newest racetrack, with the Triumph Big Kahuna New Orleans presented by Dunlop Tire and LeoVince scheduled for the weekend of October 5 - 7, 2012 as the first professional motorsports event to be held at NOLA Motorsports Park. AMA Pro Road Racing competitors tested at the facility in June and all indications suggest that the blazing fast race track will put on some of the best racing seen all year.
